- What is a kWh?
When we send you an energy bill, the units we bill you against are kilowatt hours. You may be more familiar with kWh as that's how you'll see it written on your bill.
Examples of what 1 kwh can power are;
- 1 kWh will power a 40 watt light bulb for 25 hours.
- 1 kWh will wash a full load in a washer/dryer
- 1 kWh will allow you to use a computer for 4 hours
- 1 kWh is 22 minutes of ironing. If you're doing 22 minutes of ironing, could you pop into the office and pick up our shirts to do as well?
